U.S. equity futures edged up on Wednesday, extending momentum from Wall Street’s strong rally the previous day after the White House said President Trump will deliver an address later today on Iran. On Tuesday, Trump dismissed the need for a negotiated settlement to end the war, suggesting the U.S. could simply declare victory and halt hostilities. Turning to fresh data, US house prices rose 0.1% mom in January, with annual gains remaining subdued.
Tech heavyweights led gains, with all members of the “Magnificent Seven” closing comfortably higher after a mixed performance on Monday. Meta surged 6.7% following a 2% rise at the start of the week, while Marvell Technology soared nearly 13% to pace the Nasdaq after unveiling a strategic partnership and USD 2 billion investment from Nvidia. Shares of the world’s most valuable company also advanced 5.6%, reinforcing optimism across the sector.
