ADIB Becomes First Islamic Bank to Migrate to Cloud-Native Architecture

Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB) has become the first Islamic bank globally to migrate to a cloud-native architecture using zero-footprint topology and the first in the UAE and GCC to implement Swift’s Alliance Cloud platform.

This transition enhances ADIB’s financial messaging capabilities, improving security, efficiency, and scalability for its retail and corporate clients.

Swift’s Alliance Cloud is a cloud-based financial messaging solution designed to modernise payment processes.

By adopting a Software as a Service (SaaS) model, ADIB has improved payment processing speed and security while streamlining its payment architecture and reducing costs.
